These tools allow you to gain more control over measurements and different points of anatomy on exposures you take within the software.

To get to this section, click on the “Tools” tab

Point - This tool will simply place a reference point on the image where you choose to put it.

Line - This tool will allow you to place a line between two points anywhere on the image.

Arrow - This tool allows you to place an arrow anywhere on the image.

Distance - Similar to the Measure tool, this will measure the distance between two points on an exposure.

Circle - This will place a circle around a point you select, measuring the radius of the circle as you place it. To use this tool, you will want to click and hold at a control point, drag your cursor to the desired location and let go of the click.

Three Point Circle - This tool will allow you to place a perfect circle using a different way to place control points.

Circle Angle - This tool allows you to take a measurement both of a circle as well as an angle in reference to the circle's radius point set by its user.

Vertical Discrepancy - This tool helps you measure the vertical distance between a point in reference to another adjacent point set by the user.

Angle - Another tool that helps you measure the angle between three points.

Cross Angle - This tool helps you measure the angle between two lines where the intersection point is the angle measurement taken.

Middle Angle - A tool that helps measure the angle perpendicular to a straight line.

V-Axis - This tool sets a vertical axis line for reference.

H-Axis - This tool sets a horizontal axis line for reference.

Free-Axis - This tool sets an axis based on two points the user sets for the software.

Horizontal Level - This tool sets a horizontal axis reference line and also measures the angle and distance between it and the user set control point.

Vertical Level - This tool sets a vertical axis reference line and also measures the angle and distance between it and the user set control point.

Free Axis Level - This tool sets an axis reference line based on two user-set points and also measures the angle and distance between it and the user set control point.

Free Text Label - This is another tool to set a custom text label to place freely on the image, you can also rotate this label.

Point Ratio - This tool will have the user set two lines, the tool will then measure the length of both lines, then it will compare the two.

3 Point Ratio - This tool will measure the two segments of a straight line. It will tell you the total distance of the line and the percentage of that distance of two segments in the line.

Cardio-Thoracic Ratio - This tool helps you measure the Cardio-Thoracic ratio. The ratio in which we are comparing the ratio of the greatest transverse dimension of the heart to the greatest transverse dimension of the chest cavity measured to the inner surface of the ribs on the PA radiograph.

Leg Length Discrepancy - This measures the difference in length between two limbs such as legs.

Femoral Symmetry - This tool helps to measure the symmetry of the femur bone structure right as compared to left.

Acetabular Angle - This tool measures the angle of the pelvis bone structure.

Meta-Diaphyseal Angle - This tool measures the angle created by the intersection of a line through the transverse plane of the proximal tibial metaphysis with a line perpendicular to the long axis of the tibial diaphysis.

Iliac Angle - This tool will help measure angle formed by the line paralleling the iliac wing on one side and the extending line paralleling the acetabular slope on the opposite side is equal to the sum of the iliac angle on one side and the acetabular angle on the opposite side.

Double Line Axis - This tool is used to mark an axis line formed in the middle of two lines in relation to one another.

Center Edge Angle - This tool is used to measure the angle between the vertical axis of the pelvis and a line connecting the femoral head center and the lateral acetabular margin.

PMAA / DMAA - Alignment tool used to measure the angle at which the vertebrae is compared to the spinal column.

Axis Angle - This tool measures the angle of one axis in comparison to another axis set by comparing two lines.

IMA / HVA - This tool helps measure the difference in two created axis lines and the angle between them.

Measurements Calibration - This tool will celebrate the measurements of the shot by measuring the distance between two points and inputting the true measurement between those two points.
